The reason for this is because CBD dosage depends on various factors like body fat, fitness level, age, gender and many others. The best piece of advice that we can offer is to start from the lowest dosage say 10mg per day.
Take the CBD and then get a feel for the effects. Do you feel the benefits of pain or anxiety-relieving? Do you feel your insomnia symptoms reducing? If the answer to it is a yes, then good, stick to the dosage that you are at. If the answer is no, then increase the dosage by around 2mg every time, until you get the desired effects.

Time is something that may not be on your side when you are experimenting with CBD. The same cannot be said about an anxiety pill or an opioid. CBD works naturally on your body and for anything to work naturally, time is something that you will need to devote to it. It won’t work as rapidly as over-the-counter medications.
If you have tried CBD for just a few days and you feel no noticeable difference, then it is completely normal. Try again and consistently do so for around 10-15 days. At this point, you can decide if there is a need for you to bump up the dosage or go for a higher potency CBD product. Once this is done, you will have to wait for a few days for the effects to relay back to you.
A CBD product is much like a multi-vitamin pill. You can’t take it sporadically and expect lightning-fast results to surface.
